IN THE CENTRAL SQUARE ITS SYMBOL
Andalo’s settlement dates back to the Middle Ages and its inhabitants have always been known as very industrious people. Precisely to celebrate this philosophy of life in Central Square is a bronze monument depicting a woodcutter’s intent in his work, with an axe in one hand and a piece of wood in the other. The artwork is inspired by the local saying “Ntant che pòlsest va a tagliar su legna”, which means “While you’re resting cut some wood!” This motto encapsulates the way the people of Andalo deal with everyday life: productivity is a strong piece of their identity.

THE FAMILY CHALET DOSSON TO EAT
The Family Chalet Dosson, built in 2014 in compliance with the highest environmental standards, is a modern facility at 1,450 meters near the middle station of the Andalo-Doss Pelà cable car. In summer, it is the perfect place to have lunch on the terrace surrounding the restaurant while admiring the beautiful landscape of the Brenta Dolomites.
It is a real paradise for families, thanks to the many workshops organized by MUSE – Science Museum and the nearby Baby Park Dosson. To eat you can choose between self-service, with a wide selection of first courses, main courses and desserts, and gourmet sandwiches, named like the most famous Dolomite peaks. In the Stube, on the other hand, you will be delighted with a modern take on traditional recipes.
HORSEBACK RIDING AMONG THE FARMS
At the Andalo Riding Center, you can enjoy relaxing horseback rides or formative riding lessons to learn the best technique thanks to its highly trained instructors. You can go out on horseback rides in the Dolomites, even by carriage among the farms that make up the ancient settlement of Andalo, and ride in the countryside, on the equestrian trail, or on paths suited to your training. Don’t worry about equipment: everything you need to ride will be provided for hire.

NELLA PIAZZA CENTRALE IL SUO SIMBOLO
L’insediamento di Andalo risale al Medioevo e i suoi abitanti sono sempre stati noti come gente molto operosa. Proprio per celebrare questa filosofia di vita in Piazza Centrale è presente un monumento in bronzo che rappresenta un taglialegna intento nel suo lavoro, con un’accetta in una mano e nell’altra un pezzo di legna. L’opera d’arte si ispira al detto locale “Ntant che pòlsest va a tagliar su legna”, che significa “mentre ti riposi taglia un po’ di legna!” Questo motto racchiude il modo con cui gli abitanti di Andalo affrontano la quotidianità: la produttività è un pezzo forte della loro identità.

PER MANGIARE IL FAMILY CHALET DOSSON
Il Family Chalet Dosson, costruito nel 2014 nel rispetto dei più alti standard ambientali, è una struttura moderna a 1.450 metri in prossimità della stazione intermedia della funivia Andalo-Doss Pelà. In estate è il luogo perfetto per pranzare sulla terrazza che circonda il ristorante ammirando il meraviglioso paesaggio delle Dolomiti di Brenta.
È un vero paradiso per famiglie, grazie ai numerosi laboratori organizzati con il MUSE – Museo delle Scienze e al vicino Baby Park Dosson. Per mangiare si può scegliere tra il self service, con una vasta scelta di primi, secondi e dolci, e i panini gourmet, che prendono il nome delle più famose cime dolomitiche. Nella Stube, invece, sarete deliziati con la rivisitazione moderna delle ricette tradizionali.
A CAVALLO TRA I MASI
Al Centro di Equitazione di Andalo potrai dedicarti a rilassanti passeggiate a cavallo o formative lezioni di equitazione per apprendere la migliore tecnica grazie ai suoi preparatissimi maestri. Potrai uscire in passeggiata a cavallo sulle Dolomiti, anche in carrozza tra i masi che costituiscono l’antico insediamento di Andalo, e cavalcare in campagna, sul percorso ippico o su sentieri adatti alla tua preparazione. Non preoccuparti per l’attrezzatura: ti verrà fornito a noleggio tutto il necessario per cavalcare.
