After the agreement with free public transportation by bus to Paganella and to all the competition arenas, the organising committee of 5 Days of Italy just finalised in these days the sustainability plan for the event.
The commitment is to have a 100% sustainable event with a strict plastic free approach and recycling policy. All refreshment points will have self-refilling stations without any plastic cups or water bottles and will serve the freshest water from the alpine springs of Paganella. The tourism office of Dolomiti Paganella is also going to arrange some waste disposal area with recycling bins and dedicated staff to help and support in sorting various wastes.
In addition, also 100 electric bikes dislocated in various charging stations will be at full service to all at 5 days of Italy. The Paganella plateu is equipped with 13 bikes-charging stations along paths and trails, in addition to the ones in the city center and numerous hotels.
