Auronzo / Tre Cime di Lavaredo – The big storm that attacked north-eastern Italy last month has passed without too many consequences, despite winds of over 150Km/h and strong rain. Back to the sunshine in Veneto now and all people are working to restore roads and woods in the damaged areas. Fortunately, as already announced, the area of the 5 Days Italy 2019 was only slightly affected by the hurricane everything in Auronzo surroundings is back to normal. With these last weeks good weather, we finished the maps, and finalized some details for the different areas and courses.
Maps at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and of Misurina lake area (Unesco heritage) are beautiful and the forests identified in the Comelico Superiore are very clear and technically valid for the dispute of the 4th and 5th stages of the 5 Days Italy.
Now the winter season is approaching and the area will be one of the great centers for cross-country skiing tracks in the World, with direct access to the Dolomitic Nordic Ski circuit with over 1300 km of cross-country skiing trails in the Dolomites.
